Frequently asked questions

Is this calculator free?

Yes. It is completely free, works in any modern browser on computers, tablets and phones, and needs no download or sign-up.

Is my data private?

All calculations happen in your browser. Your history is stored only on your own device and you can clear it at any time.

What is the difference between DEG and RAD?

DEG means angles are measured in degrees (a full circle is 360°). RAD means radians (a full circle is 2π). Most everyday and school problems use degrees.

In what order are operations calculated?

The calculator follows standard order of operations: brackets first, then powers, then multiplication and division, then addition and subtraction. So 2 + 3 × 4 = 14.
