Random Number Generator

How random are the numbers?

Numbers come from your browser's cryptographic random generator (crypto.getRandomValues) with rejection sampling, so every value in the range is exactly as likely as any other. Nothing is sent to a server.

Draws, giveaways and decisions

Use “No repeats” to draw unique numbers, for example tickets for a raffle or lottery-style numbers. Switch to “Pick from a list” to choose a random winner, assign tasks or decide who goes first: paste the names one per line and choose how many to pick.

Frequently asked questions

How do I generate a random number between 1 and 10?

Set minimum 1 and maximum 10 (or press the 1–10 preset) and click Generate. Both ends are included.

Can I pick a random winner from a list of names?

Yes. Choose “Pick from a list”, paste the names one per line and choose how many winners to draw; each name can be picked only once.

Are the results truly random?

They use a cryptographically secure generator built into your browser, which is suitable for raffles and games. For regulated lotteries, official draws use certified equipment.
